Video poker. Choose what to hold.
Video poker deals five cards. You choose which cards to keep, then replace the others once. The final hand is compared with the game's visible paytable. It is a single-player card game, with no cash wager or redeemable win.

Deal, hold, draw
- Check the game's name and paytable. Similar-looking versions can have different rules.
- Choose the allowed virtual stake, or the denomination and coin count where shown. The Bank displays the total.
- Choose Deal. The chosen amount moves to In play once, with no separate Bank confirmation.
- Select each card you want to Hold. Select it again to remove the hold.
- Draw to replace every unheld card. Drawing costs no additional credits.
- Read the final hand. Open Bank and Round details to read Last returned.
The replacement cards come from the same shuffled deck. Discarded cards do not return. Finish Draw before leaving a hand; this avoids interrupting its reserved credits.
Start with Jacks or Better
AUREL's original Jacks or Better uses a standard 52-card deck. A pair of jacks, queens, kings or aces returns the stake; lower pairs do not. Two pair, three of a kind, a straight, flush, full house, four of a kind, straight flush and royal flush pay the displayed higher multipliers.
A hold example
You receive jack of hearts, jack of clubs, 4, 7 and 9. Select the two jacks to Hold, then Draw. If the final hand remains just that pair, the 1× total return restores the original stake. If it becomes two pair, the original Jacks or Better paytable returns 2× the stake. The result is not guaranteed by holding a pair.
For a 100-credit hand, a 1× result returns 100 and a 2× result returns 200. The paytable shows total returns, not a profit to add to the stake again.
Five versions in the collection
- Jacks or Better: a familiar starting point with high pairs as its lowest paying hand.
- Deuces Wild: twos act as wild cards. Use its own hand rankings and minimum paying hand.
- Bonus Poker: four-of-a-kind returns depend on rank groups.
- Double Bonus: a different fixed schedule, with larger four-of-a-kind categories.
- Double Double Bonus: certain four-of-a-kind returns also depend on the kicker card.
The four cabinet variants use 1–5 coins and their displayed denomination. Their natural royal schedule pays 250 per coin at 1–4 coins and 4,000 coins total at 5 coins. This differs from original Jacks or Better's fixed 800× royal return. Always read the current game's selected paytable column.
Understand a result
Only the highest paying applicable hand pays. Aces may be low or high in a straight, but sequences do not wrap from king through ace to two. AUREL highlights the paying hand where applicable. Neither a cosmetic pack nor your saved balance changes the paytable.
Learn at your own pace
Practice uses a temporary profile, so experimenting with holds does not change saved credits, history or achievements. Mouse, keyboard and tablet touch all support card selection. Comfort Mode enlarges the surrounding controls and quiets motion; sound is optional.
