Public-beta privacy notice.

Updated 4 October 2026. This notice describes the static AUREL public beta, which requires no email account, password or payment details.

Data kept on this device

AUREL stores your local game profile, virtual credit history, preferences, favourites, results and cosmetic selections in browser storage where safe persistence is available. Bounded feature counters stay on the device and are not transmitted as analytics. Practice uses an isolated temporary profile.

Website requests

Your browser requests the website and public game assets from its hosting provider. Hosting infrastructure may process ordinary request information such as IP address, time, URL and browser information to serve and protect the website. The public beta does not send play progress to an AUREL account service.

Feedback

Feedback is prepared locally. Copying or downloading does not send it to AUREL. If an external feedback channel is configured, opening it takes you to that service, whose own privacy terms apply.

Export and erasure

Preferences lets you export or erase the local profile. You can also remove it through browser site-data controls. Clearing site data removes stored progress and offline files. Exports you save or share remain under your control.

The founding-interest list

If you choose to join the founding list (on the Founding membership page or the in-app Founding membership screen), we store: your email address, your optional answer to the one price-expectation question, the page the form was submitted from, your browser's user-agent string and your consent. Nothing else — no name, no payment details, no gameplay data.

Why: solely to tell you about founding membership when it opens, and to help set a fair founding price from the answers. The list is never used for any other mailing, never sold and never shared for advertising. Where: the list is stored with Supabase in the United States, in a private table that the website itself cannot read back — the site can only add your row, and only with your consent ticked.

How to be removed: a support address will be published on the Support page before any email is ever sent to the list, so you will always be able to ask for removal before receiving anything. Until that address is published, nothing is emailed to anyone on the list.

Device limits

The beta has no cross-device synchronization. A temporary-session notice appears where safe persistent storage cannot be used. Anyone controlling this browser can access or change its local data.
