AUREL
AUREL · THE PLAY CLUB

Honest answers.

Is this gambling?

No. Gambling means staking something of value on an uncertain outcome for a chance to win something of value. In AUREL, neither side of that exists: the credits you play with are free, virtual and worthless by design, and no game can award money, prizes or anything redeemable. You can never lose money here, and you can never win it. Because the games are still casino games in form, the club is intended for adults 18 and over.

Will I ever be charged?

Not in this beta, and never without acting yourself. The beta is completely free: no payment details are collected anywhere on this site, there is nothing to buy, and credits cannot be purchased. If a paid membership is offered in the future, it will be a separate, clearly priced choice you would have to actively sign up for — nothing converts silently, and the free play you have today does not create any obligation.

How does AUREL make money?

Today, it doesn’t. The beta is free, has no advertising, and sells nothing. The plan is a straightforward optional club membership later — people who love the club paying a simple subscription for it. That is why the founding list asks what you would expect such a club to cost: the answer helps set a fair price. AUREL will never make money from wagering, chip bundles or anything that profits when a player loses.

Who can see my progress?

Only you, and anyone who uses the same browser profile on your device. Your display name, preferences, favourites, credit balance and recent rounds are saved in this browser on this device — there is no account and no server copy. The site itself sends no gameplay data anywhere; the hosting provider processes ordinary website access logs, as every website’s host does.

How do I delete my data?

Inside the club, open Preferences and choose Erase local data — it permanently removes your saved profile from this device, and there is nothing to delete anywhere else. Clearing this site’s data in your browser settings does the same thing. You can export a copy first from the same place.

If you joined the founding list and want your email removed: a support address will be published on the Support page before any email is ever sent to the list, so you will always be able to ask for removal before you could receive anything. Until that address is published, nothing is emailed to anyone.

What happens to an email I give on the founding page?

It is stored, with your optional price answer, in a private list hosted with Supabase in the United States. It is used only to tell you about founding membership — no newsletters, no sharing, no advertising. The full details are in the privacy notice.

Do I need an account to play?

No. Open the club and play — all 75 games, with free credit refills, no sign-up and no time limits. Progress simply stays on the device you play on.
